Открытый Акционерный Коммерческий Туронбанк один из первых коммерческих банков в Республике, был утвержден учредительской конференцией пайщиков от 6 октября 1990 года, зарегистрирован Госбанком 6 ноября 1990 года № 713. В соответствии с решением Общего Собрания пайщиков от 17 апреля 1993 года банк был переформирован в Акционерный Коммерческий Банк Консолидации «Турон».

Moody's international rating agency assigned Turon Bank JSC a financial stability rating (FSB) of E+, which is being transformed into a basic creditworthiness rating of B3. This rating takes into account the bank's strong business relationships with a number of large clients (including both state-owned enterprises and government institutions, as well as private sector companies), a relatively developed branch network, improving profitability and operational efficiency indicators, and proper asset quality. All ratings have a "stable" outlook.

The bank implemented the "Money Gram" money transfer system and was one of the first banks in Uzbekistan to introduce the "Golden Crown" system to the money transfer market of Uzbekistan, established correspondent relations with JP Morgan Chase Bank (USA), Bank Finance and Credit (Ukraine).

Turonbank develops and implements new banking technologies to support and promote the business development of bank clients. Changes occurred in the processes of providing banking services, namely, in 2008, new, more modified systems for remote account servicing - Internet-Banking and Sms-Banking - were introduced.
