The Bank categorizes projects by their environmental and social aspects, reflecting the potential level of environmental and social risks and impacts. Projects are categorized by level of environmental and social risks into the following categories:
A - serious impact, that extends beyond the boundaries of the bank's/client's project area;
B - average impact, limited to the boundaries of the bank's activity/client's project boundaries
C - no or small impacts.
