In today's world, where rapid changes are occurring, and we are increasingly immersed in the digital age, most of our activities can now be performed through electronic devices. Education processes have moved online, and remote banking services have become widely accessible. However, alongside these advancements, we are witnessing an increase in risks threatening humanity's future and escalating conflicts on the international stage.
During the event, these pressing issues were discussed in detail. Advisor to the Chairman of the Committee on religious affairs, Ilhom Marupov, emphasized that the rapid pace of globalization has paved the way for increasing ideological threats on a global scale. He also elaborated on the essence of our sacred religion, which promotes peace, prosperity, and enlightenment.
In such a context, focusing on spirituality and enlightenment plays a crucial role in maintaining stability. As stated by our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev: "We consider spirituality and enlightenment to be acts of patriotism and conscience. A person with a conscience and spiritual values will undoubtedly love their country. Conscience and spirituality mean serving the people and the country with sincerity".
Special attention was also given to the challenges posed by religious extremism and terrorism, which aim to disrupt the progress of our country, as well as cases of young people unknowingly joining various radical movements. Emphasis was placed on the importance of fostering mutual trust among religions, promoting mutual respect and equality among followers of different faiths, and advocating for peace and harmony. These remain among our primary objectives.
