Awareness is essential in today's world! Ensuring the peace of our country is the responsibility of every citizen living in Uzbekistan. In line with this principle, a spiritual and educational event titled "Enlightenment Against Ignorance" was organized with the participation of employees from Turonbank’s head office and the Tashkent city bank service center.
The event, held in cooperation with the Shaykhontohur district administration, featured Jahongir Meliqo'ziev, a representative from the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He spoke about the significant work currently being done in our country, reforms in the religious sector, and the ideological threats spreading through the internet and social media. He provided important information to participants on how to prevent these threats and combat destructive ideas.
Jahongir Meliqo'ziev also shared valuable recommendations regarding the concepts of freedom of conscience and religious tolerance.
