In line with Presidential Decree No. PQ-267, titled "On the Fundamental Improvement of the Procedure for State Social Support of the Population", the "Social Card" system will be launched across the Republic.
This system aims to fully automate processes related to the assignment, provision, monitoring, and evaluation of social payments, subsidies, services, and assistance. The "Social Card" will serve as both a payment method and proof of eligibility for social benefits.
Commercial banks are actively participating in the implementation of this system. Notably, Turonbank has enabled the acceptance of "Social Cards" through payment terminals and cash registers provided to its corporate clients and individual entrepreneurs.
With the launch of the "Social Card" system, a total of 72 types of social services, 76 types of assistance, and nearly 200 benefits will be integrated into a unified electronic platform. This transition will eliminate paper-based documentation, resulting in time and resource savings.
