On February 28 of this year, a meeting on financial literacy was organized at the Termez branch of the Tashkent Medical University with the participation of students. The event was held as part of the Central Bank's Finlit.uz project, aimed at increasing the financial literacy of young people and expanding their understanding of modern banking services.
At the meeting, Sh. Kuchkarov, a financial literacy trainer for the Finlit.uz project and Press Secretary to the Chairman of the Board of JSCB "Turonbank," provided detailed information on the reforms being implemented in the banking system, digital services, and the conveniences created for customers.
During the event, cybersecurity issues were considered as a separate block. Recommendations were given on protecting plastic card data, taking precautions during online payments, and identifying and preventing widespread fraudulent practices.
This meeting encouraged young people to be financially literate, vigilant, and responsible. The meeting, which was rich in questions and answers, served to strengthen the economic thinking of students.
